GO GO GO! America runs off convenience. Whatever is quick and easy! Burgers, Chicken Fingers, Taco's, Pizza the choices are UNLIMITED! So many choices can be OVERWHELMING!
Definition of Fast Food: Food that is served based on speed of service. Prepared quickly. My spin on it is has to have a drive thru! Choice of running in, staying in your car, and now curbside service.
According to a recent study nearly 37% of Americans eat Fast Food everyday. That is nearly 85 million people. People are eating out now more than ever. Quantity over Quality?!? Well just maybe.
Does convenience = unhealthy choices? Possibly! According to a recent study, consumption of Fast Food twice a week can lead to Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity. Both can increase your risk of heart disease as well.
Finding healthy choices makes it tough when time is limited. They are far and few between but available if you look close enough.

Of course growing up in the south we had choices that most people had across the United States. McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy’s, and Pizza Hut to name a few. When we got a Domino’s Pizza in my mid teens that delivered we thought that was the Greatest thing. Pizza to your front door, WOW!
As you get older time management and food choices make a difference. Affordability, Convenience, Meal Planning or lack of LOL! I've been there and done that! Below the chart shows consumption of Fast Food by age group.

The chart above is pretty self explanatory. The 20 to 39 year old age group has the most probability of eating out on any given day. Young kids? New Careers? School? Etc… Just Maybe?
Lunch time is typically the most popular time. Fast Food Frenzy for sure! Have you been through a Chick-fil-A drive thru at lunch? It’s off the chain, pardon the pun. McDonald’s and Burger King as well. It seems like everyone is short for time.
All together Fast Food is going to be here as long as we are. Good Economy or Bad its typically affordable & convenient. Nearly 85 million people every day enjoy it or not?!?
